The Application Nightmare
Finally started the real application on Tuesday. Their website kept timing out like crazy. When it did load:

- Address history? Moved twice last year – typed all old ZIP codes manually
- Employment section? Asked for supervisor’s phone number! My manager changed 3 months ago!
Nearly rage-quit when it rejected my phone number format. Had to re-enter everything three freaking times.
The Sketchy Verification Part
Right after submitting, got an email saying “needs additional verification.” Panicked for a sec – thought I got denied. Turns out they just wanted me to video-call some dude holding up my driver’s license next to my face like a hostage photo. Did that awkward dance at 9:30 PM in my pajamas.
Approval Shock
Checked status next morning expecting rejection. Nearly spilled coffee seeing “CONGRATULATIONS YOU’RE APPROVED” in all caps! Credit limit’s smaller than I wanted ($2.5k) but honestly shocked it went through after that circus.
Pro tip: Clear your whole dang schedule if applying for this card. Took me four days total with all the hiccups. Card arrived yesterday – still trying to figure out if the rewards justify that migraine of a process. Would I do it again? Probably. But definitely not without whiskey next time.
