Okay, so tonight I wanted to check out who actually showed up in that Cardinals vs Panthers game last week for fantasy football. My buddy kept bragging about his points, and I needed to see the proof.
Starting the Search
First thing I did was pull out my laptop. Went straight to that big sports site everyone uses. Typed in “Cardinals Panthers stats” real quick.
Found the game recap page. Saw the final score, but I needed the real meat – the player breakdowns. You know, who caught the balls, who ran hard, all that.
The Fantasy Stats Hunt
Scrolled down looking for that “Fantasy Points” box. Took longer than it should have! They hid it under like three different tabs – ‘Box Score’, then ‘Scoring’, then finally ‘Fantasy’. Why’s it gotta be a treasure hunt every time?
Clicked on it and saw the list:
- Panthers names popped up first.
- Cardinals guys underneath.
Started scanning for the big numbers. At the top, saw DJ Moore’s name flashing. He had himself a DAY! That was obvious.
Digging Deeper Than the Surface
But the highest numbers aren’t always the full story, right? So I started clicking on player names.
- Wanted to see how they got those points. Like, were they all catches, were there any long TDs?
- Checked running backs especially. Sometimes they get points just from sheer volume, even if it ain’t pretty.
Got stuck on one pop-up asking me to log in. No way, buddy. Closed that sucker fast.
Found James Conner buried a bit down the Cardinals list. Didn’t have huge yardage, but man, he kept finding the end zone! Had to make a note of that.
Pulling it Together
After jumping between players and that main list for a good ten minutes, the top guys finally stuck out.
For the Panthers:
- DJ Moore was head and shoulders above – catches, yards, the whole package.
For the Cardinals:
- James Conner was the workhorse, especially punching it in.
- Also saw their QB (Kyler Murray) scrambling a bunch, adding sneaky points with his feet.
Finally felt like I had the real picture. Yeah, my buddy was right about Moore. Gotta give him that. Conner saved Arizona’s fantasy backers, though. Tough sledding otherwise.
Now I got my notes for trash talk Sunday. Feels solid.
