Worth a dart throw if I have bench space later? Maybe. Kept lookin’. Chuba Hubbard was stashed already in most leagues – grabbed him a while back when Sanders looked shaky. Whew. - WR Deep Dives: Got distracted for a sec thinkin’ about Drake London. Wishful thinking. Saw Demario Douglas still out there in one league – Patriots mess, but volume is volume? Then remembered Pop Douglas might be back soon. Ugh. Kept scrollin’. Saw Dontayvion Wicks pop up in news – Packers WR injuries piling up? Watson doubtful, Reed hurt… hmm. Making The Painful Picks (My Claims)
Alright, time to pull the trigger. Feelin’ that waiver anxiety creep in. Where am I in the order? Middle of the pack? Crap. Have to prioritize hard.
- Claim #1: Wasted no thoughts. Went straight for the best available TE. Looked bleak. Ended up putting Logan Thomas as my top claim in leagues where he was free. Commanders are pass-happy(ish) and he gets looks near the goal line sometimes. Best of a bad bunch, feels like hopin’ for scraps.
- Claim #2: Still shakin’ my head at TE. Put in bids for Hill too in leagues where Thomas got snapped up already. Pray for rushing TDs.
- Claim #3: Okay, shifted focus. Needed some RB security blanket. Saw Elijah Mitchell floating. CMC is CMC, but if that dude ever needs a breather… Mitchell can be useful. Low-cost lotto ticket.

Submitted everything. Felt… not great. The Andrews void felt huge. Logan Thomas ain’t gonna fix that. Spears might just rot on my bench. Wicks is purely a shot in the dark. And Mitchell? Pure insurance that likely won’t pay off unless disaster strikes CMC. But what can you do? It’s Week 9 waiver wire digging.
